Régnié
was officially acknowledged as a Cru in 1988 by decree.
My production is on different terroirs, but only
on the granite soil does the Régnié find its
typical self. The long maceration with a regulated temperature
gives an elegance to the Régnié. This has enabled
me to gain awards in wine competitions as well as the « Grumage
Beaujolais » quality label given by the Compagnons
du Beaujolais brotherhood.
Therefore, we find different styles in my cellar : the
Tradition vintage, fruity and silky, the richness
and length in Les Larmes du Granit (granite tears)
vintage ; the power in the Grumage Beaujolais
or the complexity of aromas in the Fût de chêne
(oak barrel) vintage.
